UMT Computers Ltd started operating in the late 1990’s as a computer maintenance and programming company. This is where the foundation of GuardTourer began. One specific client required a guard tour program be implemented by us to so suit their needs in the security industry. After many updates GuardTourer finally was complete and in use for the sole purpose for that company. In 2007 GuardTourer was made public for company to purchase. UMT Computers Ltd has now moved away from computer maintenance and programming and is now dedicated to GuardTourer alone.

Guardtourer.com has been formed to offer a product that fulfils our client’s demands.

A contactless swipe of a checkpoint makes life so much easier, and prevents general wear and tear to the guard tour probe as well as the checkpoint. GuardTourer has RFID built in giving the security officers a hassle free patrol.


On-screen Display

The on-screen display is an added benefit which displays the date and time and when you have made contact with a checkpoint. This feature is not currently included in the majority of other guard tour systems. The on-screen display enables you to keep the time in sync when doing patrols.


Server Edition Software

GuardTourer’s Server edition is what makes us unique in the guard tour systems market. When a security officer completes a patrol, they simply connect the GuardTourer device to a PC via a USB cable, which then automatically uploads the report online for you or your clients to see. This saves you time and money as it will not be required to a site just to download the guard tour device.

Another benefit being is that you can login by our website and see when a guard made their last patrol, which of course is great if you need to know when a security officer made their last patrol. You clients can also be given a username and password, set by you, the admin, so that they can view or print the reports themselves.
